Got a Manuscript to Pitch

Book Week Scotland’s programme launches this week, including a Jenny Brown Associates pitching event!

Day Date Time
Thursday 24 November 2016 10:00 – 15:00

Once your manuscript is finished, you have two choices … put it in the drawer with everything else or get it out there.  This is a no brainer …

Book Week Scotland is inviting pitches from aspiring authors to Jenny Brown and Lucy Juckes from Jenny Brown Associates Literary Agency – Jenny Brown is the most preeminent Literary Agent in Scotland to day and the Agency’s extensive list of authors includes the likes of William McIlvanney, Sara Sheridan, Jonathan Meres and Alison Murray, to name but a few.  If you fancy seeing your name on that list, here is what to do …

  1. Book a slot at the Pitching Event: Email lucy@jennybrownassociates and let her know if your book is for adults or children.  Also give her a sentence which gives a sense of what it’s about.
  2. Turn up: Waterstones, Princes St on Thursday the 24th November from 10am-3pm.

Each session will last for 10 minutes.  Book an appointment but places are allocated on a first come basis, booked in advance.

Good luck!
